The module Entries works directly with the so-called Buckets together – flexible content templates that allow you to create recurring structures such as Sponsor walls, Speaker lists or Partner overviews You can create them. Each bucket defines the fields and layout that are available for a new entry.
Construction #
A Bucket is a template that determines:
- which fields (e.g., name, logo, description, website) an entry contains,
- how this content is displayed in the frontend,
- and in which loop they are repeatedly output (e.g., all sponsors in a list).
Functions in the module Entries #

In the overview, you can manage all content that is based on a bucket:
- user – shows who created the entry.
- name – Main title of the entry (e.g. company name or personal name).
- Visible – determines whether the entry is currently published.
- Actions – Edit, Duplicate, Delete.
Controls:
- Show only visible entries – filters out invisible content.
- Delete mode – enables the permanent removal of entries.
Create new entry #

- Click on „"Create new entry"“.
- Select the desired one Bucket from (e.g. sponsor, Speaker, Team member).
- Fill in the automatically generated fields – depending on the template.
- Save the entry to make it visible in the relevant area (e.g., sponsor wall).
Advantages of buckets #
- High flexibility: You decide which fields a content contains.
- Reusability: A template created once can be used for many entries.
- Central structure: All entries in a bucket share the same formatting, ensuring design consistency.
- Automatic display: Changes to the entry or bucket are immediately applied to all relevant parts of the event system.
The interplay of Buckets and entries This makes ONevents a powerful system for recurring, dynamic content.
