In the File management You can centrally store all documents, presentations, and other files needed for your event. Depending on your settings, these files can be viewed or downloaded from different areas of the platform.

Functions at a glance #

  • Search
    You can use the search field to search specifically for file names in order to quickly find certain documents.
  • name
    Displays the stored file name.
  • Download icon
    This shows how many times a file has been accessed.
  • Actions
    Here you can edit or delete files as soon as they exist.
  • Create new file
    Opens the upload dialog to upload a new file. You can specify the name, description, and access rights there.
  • Delete mode
    When the delete mode is activated, files that are no longer needed can be permanently removed.

  • Provision of event materials (e.g. PDFs, presentations, checklists)
  • Upload of participant or exhibitor information
  • Release of materials for speakers or partners
  • Documentation of internal processes or evaluations

Upload new file to ONevents #

About the function „"Create new file"“ Files can be stored centrally in the system and later used in various areas of the platform – e.g., in event pages, participant areas, or internal workflows.

Fields at a glance #

  1. name*
    The filename is automatically extracted from the uploaded file. You can adjust it if needed before saving the file.
  2. Displayed name*
    The name that will later be visible on the platform. This may differ from the actual file name (e.g., "Program Overview.pdf" instead of "file_2025_final.pdf").
  3. Select file
    Select the file from your computer that you want to upload. After the upload, the file information will be entered automatically.
  4. Description
    About the rider „"Description"“ You can provide additional information or notes about the file's contents. This description helps other users quickly understand the file's purpose.
  5. Download statistics
    After uploading, the number of times the file has already been downloaded is displayed.
  6. Create new file
    Click this button to complete the upload and save the file.

Notes #

  • Supported formats: e.g., PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, PNG, ZIP
  • The uploaded file is immediately available in the file overview.
  • Files can be edited or deleted at any time.
